What brought you to Wonsettler Physical Therapy?

What brought me to WPT was the organization’s strong emphasis on positivity, patient relationships, and creating a welcoming environment for everyone who walks through the door. I appreciate that WPT focuses not only on quality patient care, but also on building meaningful connections and making patients feel supported throughout their healthcare journey. I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to that atmosphere while continuing to grow both personally and professionally in a healthcare setting.

What do you find most rewarding about working at Wonsettler?

What I find most rewarding about working at WPT is the opportunity to positively impact people during their healthcare journey and help create an environment where patients feel welcomed, supported, and encouraged. I enjoy being part of a team-oriented atmosphere where strong relationships with patients and coworkers are valued, and where even small interactions can make a difference in someone’s day. I also find it rewarding to work in a setting that promotes personal growth, positivity, and long-term connection with both the team and the community.

What is your favorite part of your job?

My favorite part about my job is being able to connect with people and help make their experience less stressful and more positive. Whether it is helping someone feel comfortable when they walk in the door, assisting with scheduling and communication, or simply being a reliable and friendly presence, I enjoy knowing that the work I do helps keep things running smoothly for both patients and the clinical team. I also enjoy the variety each day brings and the opportunity to continuously learn and grow within a healthcare environment.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work to maintain your own physical and mental well-being?

Outside of work, I enjoy activities like baking and cross-stitching because they help me relax, recharge, and take time for myself outside of a busy schedule. I enjoy baking because it allows me to be creative and unwind with a sweet treat, while cross-stitching gives me an opportunity to slow down, focus, and de-stress. I also enjoy spending quality time with family and friends and doing things that help me stay balanced and enjoy life outside of work.

How do you see the field of physical therapy evolving, and what excites you about the future?

I think physical therapy continues to evolve by becoming more personalized, accessible, and focused on overall quality of life rather than just recovery alone. What excites me most is seeing how physical therapy helps people stay active, independent, and confident in their everyday lives. I also think it is exciting to see practices like WPT continue building strong relationships with patients and creating a supportive environment that makes people feel encouraged throughout their care journey.

What advice would you give to someone considering physical therapy as a solution to their health concerns?

I would encourage them to keep an open mind and give physical therapy a chance, especially if they’re looking for a way to improve their quality of life, reduce pain, or regain confidence in their daily activities. Before fully learning about WPT, I honestly did not realize how many different day-to-day struggles physical therapy can help treat, and I think it is really awesome to see how much of an impact it can have on people’s lives. It is rewarding to know that patients are able to work toward getting back to activities and routines they may have once felt limited from doing.
