WONSETTLER PHYSICAL THERAPY | SCENERY HILL, PA
Choosing the right care starts with clear answers. These are the questions we hear most often from patients considering physical therapy, sports rehabilitation, pelvic floor therapy, neurological care, chiropractic services, or personal training.
No. You do not need a referral or prescription to begin care at Wonsettler Physical Therapy. In Pennsylvania, you may be seen by a licensed Physical Therapist for up to 30 days without a physician referral. Care beyond 30 days requires a physician referral.
Patients can begin care directly for physical therapy, sports rehabilitation, pelvic floor therapy, neurological therapy, chiropractic care, or personal training.
Even before your initial evaluation, we take time to understand your symptoms, goals, and movement needs. Our front office staff are trained to ask great questions and seek first to understand you, then direct you to the best clinician, based on your unique circumstance. During the evaluation, we’ll take a deep dive into your diagnosis, specific issues, and your goals, and recommend a clear path to recovery.
If you’re unsure where to start, we’ll help guide you.
Your first visit includes a thorough evaluation, movement assessment, and discussion of your goals. You’ll leave with a clear understanding of what’s contributing to your symptoms and a plan moving forward.
Care is never rushed, and every session is one-on-one.
Most appointments are 45 minutes, fully one-on-one with a licensed professional. You will never be passed between providers or left to complete exercises on your own.

Every visit at WPT is one-on-one, personalized, and goal-driven. We do not rely on generic programs or short appointments. Our focus is on addressing the root cause of your symptoms and helping you achieve long-term results — not temporary relief.
Both, but long-term outcomes come first. Pain relief is important, but our priority is helping you move better, become stronger, and reduce the risk of recurring issues.
