Physical Therapist

Professional Background and Expertise
My inspiration to become a physical therapist began during my service in the United States Marine Corps Reserves in 2013. I pursued this passion at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Va., where I majored in exercise science and minored in psychology. After earning my bachelor’s degree, I attended West Virginia University and obtained my Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

Experience and Approach
My approach to physical therapy and rehabilitation centers on creating highly personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique lifestyle and needs. During each session, I strive to incorporate creative and functional exercises that are directly relevant to their daily activities, ensuring a meaningful and effective rehabilitation experience.

Personal Connection and Care
My favorite aspect of my job is patient education. I find it incredibly rewarding to empower patients with the knowledge they need to actively participate in their rehabilitation process.

Beyond the Clinic
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with outdoors activities such as backpacking, snowboarding, paddleboarding, and fishing.

What are your professional goals or aspirations within the field of physical therapy?
My aspirations in physical therapy include bridging the knowledge gap between the public and the full scope of what physical therapists can achieve.
