Please share a brief overview of your education and professional certifications.
I went to school at Gannon University in Erie, PA and completed my Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Physical therapy degrees there. Along the way, I have also gained a license as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and am LSVT-BIG certified. Throughout my clinicals, I have had experiences working with pediatrics, neuro, and orthopedics!
What is your philosophy or approach toward physical therapy and rehabilitation?
I like to use a team approach to physical therapy by building a line of open communication between myself and each patient. I think patients should be an active participant in their care, which allows us as therapists to best build our treatment plans to facilitate the most desired outcomes for our patients.
What do you enjoy most about your profession?
My favorite part of my job is helping patients to learn more about their bodies and take control of their own health and well-being. People are more capable than they think, and proper education can open up so many doors that allow individuals to become empowered to strive in making gains for their health.
What do you like to do in your free time?
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, exercising, being outside, and doing my nails!
What are your professional goals or aspirations within the field of physical therapy?
My goal as a physical therapist are to help my patients gain the knowledge and confidence required to be able to return to a life of higher functioning well above that of when they first come in to therapy. I love helping people work to reach potentials that they did not think they could achieve!
