What brought you to Wonsettler Physical Therapy?

I started as a patient here with a torn meniscus. Alex and Luke were great! They helped me get my leg stronger and I loved the environment of the clinic! I decided to come to WPT in the first place because I knew the Wonsettler family. I taught Cliff and his brother CJ in 1st grade at Somerset Elementary School, taught with Kathy and Chuck, and Kathy was my Homeroom Mom! Also, my mom was a patient of Charlie’s and he helped her with vertigo and treated her like his grandma!  She loved that! After I finished PT, Cliff asked if I was interested in working there and I said “yes”! It was an easy decision! 

What do you find most rewarding about working at Wonsettler?

Every staff member genuinely cares about our patients and each other. They all work well together and help each other. Also, I love seeing the patients’ progress from their initial evaluation until discharge.

What is your favorite part of your job?

I love talking to and getting to know the staff and our patients!

What do you enjoy doing outside of work to maintain your own physical and mental well-being?

I love attending church and Bible Studies, watching and playing with my grandchildren, antiquing with my husband, having coffee with friends, walking, and being outside working in my flowerbeds.

How do you see the field of physical therapy evolving, and what excites you about the future?

I love that our office has a chiropractor because I believe chiropractic care compliments PT well. I look forward to more integrative options to become the norm for PT clinics in the future.

What advice would you give to someone considering physical therapy as a solution to their health concerns?

I suggest giving Wonsettler PT a try first before opting for more invasive treatments.
